I am an artist and photographer living between Rotterdam and Nice. My work stems from my fascination for human relationships: the connections we create, the rituals we inherit, and the traditions we choose to reshape.
Before returning to my first love, photography, I spent years guiding people through art, museums and collectible design. As a cultural mediator in the museum field and later as a relationship manager working with designers, galleries and collectors, I learned to look beyond the surface: to understand people's values, their personal aesthetics, and the stories behind the choices they make.
These experiences shaped the way I photograph today: with curiosity, sensitivity and my eye for beauty and meaning. Weddings fascinate me because they are more than celebrations. They are personal rituals, moments where two people express who they are, what they value, and who they choose to surround themselves with.
I am drawn to couples who create their own traditions, who choose what feels meaningful over what is expected. My photography is about capturing the atmosphere, the relationships and the subtle moments that reveal what makes your wedding truly yours.
Hello, I’m Lisa
For couples who make their own traditions
You might be the kind of couple who has never quite understood why things are done a certain way just because they always have been.
Perhaps you're choosing a dinner under the stars instead of a ballroom. Perhaps you've written your own vows, blended cultures, skipped traditions that didn't feel like yours, or embraced the ones that did.
You care about beauty, but not at the expense of meaning. You appreciate thoughtful design, but you don't want your wedding to feel like a styled production. You want to be fully present with the people you love, trusting that the moments worth remembering will be noticed.
If that sounds like you, we'll probably get along, because that's how I see weddings too.
With a focus on storytelling, I capture emotion, atmosphere, and intimate moments with a documentary eye. My gaze is intuitive and honest, adapting in the moment as I tune into the people and atmosphere around me, the connections, emotions and invisible dynamics that shape the day.
Every photograph I make is an interpretation. The way I frame a moment, the choices I make during the editing process, and the story I create through a sequence of images are part of my artistic process. Guided by presence rather than performance, my work is a visual interpretation of your wedding through colours, texture and form. You don't have to become someone else in front of my camera. The only role you need to play is yourself.
